Let us bring your turnout blankets back to life, or refresh your fly sheets and stable blankets. We wash blankets according to manufacturers recommendations, only using products which are recommended for horsewear.
Our blanket wash leaves no residue, no fragrance and helps protect the blanket waterproofing.
Turnout blankets are washed on a cycle which is specifically designed to prolong and protect the waterproofing on blankets. Although it is recommended to re-waterproof items each year, a
simple water-test can be done on your washed blankets to determine if they need to be reapplied.
Getting your blankets washed with KBF
There are 4 simple steps to get your blankets washed, waterproofed and repaired!
Step 1:
Either print a copy of our blanket laundry service request form and pop it in your bag of blankets to be washed, or complete our online blanket laundry form. Choose from the two buttons below.
Step 2: We will contact you to confirm the date of when you would like to drop your blankets off. We have a drop off location on the farm which allows you to drop and go! No need for waiting around for us to meet with you. We will advise you of the drop location when we contact you.
Step 3: Receive your invoice via email/messenger and make payment via one of the options below. Payment via check is taken at the time of collection.
Step 4: Collect your blankets!
FAQs
How long will my blankets take to wash/waterproof/repair?
Depending on the number of blankets you have and what repairs need doing, it is possible have a quick turnaround time if you need it. During busy periods, our normal turnaround time is between 3 and 3 weeks. Large orders may take longer.
When can I drop my blankets off at KBF?
Any day between 8am and 8pm, just give us a call to let us know you intend to come and what time.
How will I know when my blankets are ready?
We will txt message or email you to let you know your blankets are ready for collection. Your invoice will be included in the message.
How long have I got to collection my blankets?
Blankets must be collection within 14 days of being notified they are ready. We have many blankets coming in for washing and repair and cannot store customers blankets for the Summer. If blankets are not collected, a storage fee of $10/week will be payable.
Do you offer storage for blankets through the summer?
We have limited storage space and therefor do not offer storage for blankets. We require blankets to be collected within 14 days of receipt of your invoice please.
When and how do I pay for my blankets?
If payment is being made electronically, it should be made at the time of receiving your invoice. If you are paying via check this can be given when you collect your blankets. Payment methods are detailed below. Blankets must be paid for in full and collected within 14 days of receiving the invoice.
